Follow the below steps to use the new images.
---------------------------------------------
1. Please take a safe backup of the existing images.
2. Copy the images PTHREAD$RTL.EXE and PTHREAD$DBGSHR.EXE into [SYSLIB] and do a typical INSTALL REPLACE.
$copy pthread$rtl.exe sys$library:pthread$rtl.exe
$copy pthread$dbgshr.exe sys$library:pthread$dbgshr.exe
$install replace sys$library:pthread$rtl.exe
$install replace sys$library:pthread$dbgshr.exe ( if already installed )
3. Copy the images PROCESS_MANAGEMENT.EXE, PROCESS_MANAGEMENT_MON.EXE, PROCESS_MANAGEMENT.STB
and PROCESS_MANAGEMENT_MON.STB to SYS$COMMON:[SYS$LDR].
4. If you had disabled upcalls as a work around, please re-enable them.
To enable IMS upcalls execute the following in SYSGEN.
SYSGEN> U C
SYSGEN> U A
SYSGEN> SET DISABLE_UPCALLS 0
SYSGEN> W A
SYSGEN> W C
SYSGEN> EXIT
4. Reboot the system.
